Hello everyone! School has already begun and really, we're nearing the end of September! It's the week of September 19th to the 25th. We hope that everyone has made some great new friends and is picking out dresses or maybe a tie for Homecoming! Maybe all you really need to do is pick up some courage to ask out that girl you've been crushing on, and lets hope you girls get the dates you wanted! Make sure you don't do it last minute though, the dance is October 2nd.
Before Homecoming dance happens though, the soccer team goes against another boarding school! Haven't heard of the soccer team yet? Interested in joining!? Please sign up here! Also, if your looking for any other sports team you can find them here! You can create your own club and even introduce another sport to some students, and make your own team, or maybe just a club. If you think you would want a drama club or some type of club, please start one here!
After Homecoming, expect there to be a Masquerade Halloween dance! We hope all of you will be wearing your Halloween costumes on the 30th, and ready to get down with the ghosts and ghouls. Everyone is invited to come, with no fees included!
The teachers and students both seem to be excited for Thanksgiving break already, so the school year has been going pretty normal. With both Leirner and Zeger students at the academy, everyone has been getting along quite well. We think this will be a great new start to this new year, all we hope for is a fight free year with no problems. Also, we hope your keeping up your grades, and if you aren't, check with your teachers about makeup work!
Anyways, The staff has some other announcements we would love to share with you. First of all, we've posted some new claims. Now theres a Sports team/Club claim and there is a teacher claim.Make sure you post in the teacher claim if your a teacher, and anyone may join a club! Teachers, if you could support a club, that would be awesome, too! Second of all, for all of you out there wondering, the schools new name after Zeger and Leirner merged together is Leirner Academy. There is a new board, Dear Anonymous, located in the school grounds. Please check that out for rules and info. Make sure your also playing in the games too if you are looking for something to occupy your time!
Also, for all members, we will be doing our first OTMS this month! It will be the October OTMS! We will have Female of the month, Male of the month, Couple of the month, Quote of the month, and Thread of the Month. The boards for each OTM category will be posted in the Announcements thread. Please look at them and nominate whoever you like, one nomination per category for each account. This means that on one of your accounts you can nominate one person of each category. You may not nominate yourself. And If someone already nominated the person you wanted to nominate for a category please don't post again. Make sure you all get a chance to nominate someone or at least vote for them when the polls are put up! We hope you enjoy your time at SLT!
